Marco Sartori, who in a few short years has become one of the hottest new talents in the Valpolicela region, produces world class wine. Rich and multi-layered with lots of ripe dark berry fruits and concentration. A wine to be savoured. Match with rich stews.
His philosophy is simple – reduce the yields in the vineyard to 1kg fruit per vine and you obtain fabulous fruit concentration, superb finesse and style.
Roccolo Grassi was established in 1996 by Bruno Sartori and his two children Marco and Francesca. The name refers to the estate’s most prized vineyard ‘Roccolo Grassi’.
